(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Street Crime Unit has charged a 45 year old male and 74 year old male after conducting an investigation at various Port Rowan and Long Point, Norfolk County, Ontario addresses.
Between December 2014 and January 2015, police received several reports of break enters and theft of property from various addresses in the Port Rowan and Long Point area.
On Friday, January 9, 2015, members of the Norfolk County Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a Turkey Point Road, Charlotteville, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
As a result of the search warrant, two males were arrested and a golf cart and generator that were previously reported stolen to police were recovered.
Charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 X2, is 45 year old Rick MUDFORD of Norfolk County, Ontario.
Charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 X2, is 74 year old Richard Roy MUDFORD of Norfolk County, Ontario.
Both are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
