(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) –On January 15, 2015 at approximately 9:40 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was conducting stationary radar on Highway 6 near Concession 4, Puslinch Township. A male driving a 2008 Mercedes was observed travelling well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar travelling south bound at 145km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Philip QUIRK age 54 of Oakville is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Court on February 18, 2015 to answer to the charge.
