(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating the theft of funds from the donation box at Ken Reid Conservation Park.
On January 27, 2015 the OPP was contacted in regards to a theft. Upon arrival on scene the officer observed that the lock to the donation box, which is located at the front of the park, had been damaged and removed. This is the second time that the donation box has been damaged this month.
Anyone having information on this crime or any others is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going to www.khcs.ca and submitting an anonymous tip online.
