(Marmora, ON) – On March 11, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P conducted a R.I.D.E Program on Stirling-Marmora Road just south of Marmora and Lake. At 4:10 p.m. officers checked a driver who was found to be unlicensed. Further investigation revealed the licence plates were not authorized for the vehicle and the owner did not have any insurance. As a result, the 31 year old male driver of Madoc, ON was charged with Drive No Licence, Use Plates Not Authorized and No Insurance. In addition the vehicle was towed. The driver will appear in Provincial Offences Court, Belleville at the end of April, 2015.
