(NORWICH, ON) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred on South Court Street West in Norwich.
Sometime between March 3, 2015 and March 11, 2015 suspect(s) forced entry into the residence on South Court West through the garage man door and then forced entry through the interior door. Items removed included $75 in change, $3,000 in cash, approximately $10,000 worth of jewellery, several pairs of sunglasses and computer accessories.
The Oxford OPP is continuing to investigate.
The OPP is asking residents to be vigilant in recognizing suspicious people or vehicles that may be sitting in neighbour’s driveways when they are not home or vehicles that are travelling aimlessly up and down roads. The public should try to get descriptions, licence plate numbers and direction of travel and report this immediately to their local police service. It is important for this information to get to police when the suspects may still be in the area.
