Snowmobiler Vs Wire Fence

(LAMBTON, ON) – On Saturday, March 7, 2015 at approximately 7:00 p.m. Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a snowmobile collision in an agriculture field within Enniskillen Township.

Investigation has revealed that a 51 year old male of Sarnia, Ontario had been riding his snowmobile with two friends at the time and was the last snowmobile within the trio. At some point the trio entered a farm property located in the 4000 Block of Rokeby Line. It was at this location the snowmobiler struck a wire fence rendering him incapable of operating his snowmobile. A short time later, the man’s friends realized that he had not reached their destination. They returned to find their friend suffering from life threatening injuries. The snowmobiler was then transported to Hospital where he received medical treatment.

Pending additional information there will be no charges with regard to this incident.
