(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County detachment is investigating a home entry with violence at a Bay Street, Port Rowan, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at approximately 1:07 a.m., police were called to the Bay Street residence after the home was entered and the 33 year old male occupant assaulted.
Investigation revealed that two (2) unknown males attended the property and gained entry at the front entrance door. Once inside the suspects were met by the 33 year old male who was struck about the face and head several times. During the assault a 23 year old male of the residence tried to intervene and subsequently contacted 911.
The suspects then fled from the residence, running westbound on Price Street and then southbound on Ellis Street.
As a result of the assault, the 33 year male sustained non-life threatening injuries and the 23 year old male was not physically injured.
The first suspect is described as male, white, 23-30 years of age, 5’8, medium build, clean shaven, wearing a black leather jacket, grey shirt and blue jeans.
The second suspect is described as male, white, 22-25 years of age, thin build, short blond hair, wearing dark coloured clothing.
The Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
