(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On March 17, 2015, just after midnight, members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the driver of a 2001 Lexus on Highway 6 near the Fourth Line in Centre Wellington Township for a Highway Traffic Act violation.
While speaking with the driver police detected the odour of marihuana. A quantity of marihuana was seized and the driver was placed under arrest.
Giuseppe GALLATTA age 40 of Guelph has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on April 28, 2015 to answer to the charge.
