(LAKESHORE, ON) – On March 18, 2015 at approximately 4:15 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers in Lakeshore received a driving complaint from a member of the public regarding a driver occupying a dark vehicle in the area of Essex County Road 22 and Shoreline Avenue in Lakeshore.
Officers arrived on scene where the suspect vehicle had stopped in front of a residence. Officers spoke to the female driver and sole occupant of the vehicle where it was determined that she exhibited obvious signs of impairment.
Elaine BEAUMONT, age 53 of Lakeshore, was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Exceed 80 Milligrams of Blood Alcohol Content. She will appear in a Windsor Court on March 31, 2015 to answer to the charges.
