(ESSEX, ON) – On March 23, 2015 at approximately 7:04 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers in Harrow observed a grey Dodge pickup truck on Essex County Road 50, travelling at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle was stopped and officers spoke to the male driver of the vehicle who exhibited signs of impairment. He was issued a roadside screening device demand of which he registered a “fail”.
John SAWATZKY, age 36 of Essex was arrested and subsequently charged with Exceed 80 Milligrams of Blood Alcohol Content as well as Possession of a Schedule I Substance.
He will appear in a Windsor Courtroom on April 9, 2015 to answer to the charges.
