OPP CHARGE TWO MALES WITH THEFT
(KAPUSKASING, ON) – On March 15, 2015, Kapuskasing Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated an incident at a local grocery store in the town of Kapuskasing. As a result of their investigation, Tyler ANDERON, 22, has been charged with Theft Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC). Brandon LEBLANC, 21, of Kapuskasing was charged with Theft Under $5000 and Possession of Property obtained by Crime Under $5000 contrary to the (CCC). Both are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Kapuskasing on April 27, 2015 at 10:00 am.
OPP CHARGE MALE WITH TOBACCO TAX ACT
(KAPUSKASING, ON)- On March 23, 2015, Kapuskasing Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 11 in Opasatika as a result of a Highway Traffic Act infraction. Subsequently , the driver, Abulkhain GUMAMA ,27, of Ottawa has been charged with Possess Unmarked Cigarettes contrary to the Tobacco Tax Act (TTA).
OPP CHARGE MALE WITH MULTIPLE TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS
(MOOSONEE, ON)- On March 22, 2015 Moosonee Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop in Moosonee which resulted in several Highway Traffic Act (HTA) violations. Dylan DAVEY, 25, of Moose Factory has been charged with the following offences
Drive motor vehicle no licence as per section 32(1) of the HTA;
Use plate not authorized for vehicle as per section 12(1)(d) of the HTA;
Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle section as per section 7(5)(a) of the HTA and with
Fail to surrender insurance card contrary to section 3(1) of the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act (CAIA).
