(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On March 31, 2015 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was contacted after a vehicle left the scene of a minor collision. The vehicle was located nearby on East Street North in Bobcaygeon.
Upon arrival on scene the OPP officer determined that the involved driver had been consuming alcohol. As a result of the investigation the driver was arrested and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
Lynda DUFFY, 63 years of age, of Selwyn Township, was charged with impaired driving and driving with more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100mL of blood, contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on May 21, 2015.
