(ORILLIA, ON) – Over the past weekend, the Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received 147 calls for service. Police responded to calls received from Severn Township, Ramara Township and the City of Orillia. The time frame is from Thursday night at 6:00 p.m. until Monday morning at 6:00 a.m.
There were various calls for service consisting of noise complaints, alarm, 911 hang-ups, motor vehicle collisions, domestic/family disputes, Liquor Licence Act complaints, mischief complaints and Impaired driving.
On April 4, 2015 at approximately 8:48 p.m., the Orillia OPP was dispatched to a possible impaired driver on Westmount Drive South in the City of Orillia. The motor vehicle was located at Westmount Drive and Barrie Road where the male driver was arrested.
Ken HARRIGAN, 25 years old of Ramara Township, is charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Over 80 milligrams Blood/Alcohol. He was released on a Promise to Appear in Orillia court on April 21, 2015.
On April 5, 2015 at approximately 2:22 a.m., the Orillia OPP was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Westmount Drive South in the City of Orillia. Officers arrived at scene and located a vehicle lying on its roof on Westmount Drive. The female driver was arrested at the scene and then transported to hospital by ambulance. She suffered only minor injuries.
Joy BRADFORD, 22 years old of London, is charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Over 80 milligrams Blood/Alcohol. She was released on an Appearance Notice to attend Orillia court on April 21, 2015.
