(Mono,ON)- On Saturday April 4th, 2015 OPP were conducting speed enforcement when they encountered 2 motorists exceeding the speed limit.
The first was southbound Highway 10 at County 10 in the Town of Mono. A 2007 Dodge pickup was clocked at 135 km/hr in an 80 km/hr zone. A 27 year old Amaranth Township man was charged with racing.
The second incident was on Hockley Road ‎eastbound when a 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray was clocked at 105 km/hr in a 50km/hr zone. A 54 year old Georgetown man was charged with racing.
Both drivers had their vehicles and drivers licenses impounded for 7 days. Both will appear in court in Orangeville at at a later date
