(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) urge residents to protect their property by ensuring that their vehicles are locked! An unlocked vehicle or an open window is nothing more than an invitation to thieves.
On Wednesday, April 8, 2015, Grey County OPP at approximately 5:51 a.m., Grey County OPP received a report of a vehicle that had been entered and rummaged through on Wilcox Sideroad in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. By 10:30 a.m., police had investigated a total of nine thefts from vehicle reports in the area of Wilcox Sideroad, Girl Guide Rd., Old Beach Rd and Grey Rd. 17. Stolen property included an iPod, wireless headsets, a small utility knife and change.
