(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On April 4, 2015 at approximately 10:00 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding damage to a coin acceptance machine in one of the bays at the Elora Car Wash in Centre Wellington Township.
Investigation revealed that between 8:42 a.m. and 9:10 a.m. a male suspect entered bay three of the car wash and attempted to pry open the machine.
The male suspect was wearing a blue jacket and a blue toque with a white horizontal stripe on it.
The suspect vehicle is described as a white Ford E350 van.
No money was obtained; however, the machine will cost approximately $2500 to repair.
The investigation is still ongoing.
