(HAMILTON TWP, ON) –On March 12, 2015 Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of a break-in to a seasonal residence on McBride Rd. The owner advised police that sometime between March 6th and March 12th 2015 unknown person(s) forced entry into the home and removed the following items:
1) Enfield 303 rifle (s/n 43257), Issued in 1932 to an elite shooting team
2) Leather ammunition case (24” x 12” x 12”)
3) Large quantity of 303 ammunition
4) Ammunition belt and magazines
Investigators are asking the public for their assistance in identifying those person(s) responsible for this crime. Anyone with information is asked to call Northumberland OPP at 905-372-5421 or toll free 1-888-310-1122.
