(TAY TOWNSHIP, ON) – On April 14, 2015 at 2:40p.m., officers from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of vandalism to a car wash facility on Richard Street in Tay Township. This is not the first time officers have responded to such a call at this location.
Information had been received that the property was damaged on April 13, 2015 between 4:00p.m and 7:00p.m. There are three wash bays and each had been damaged in some way. Damage is in the form of broken wash wands, snapped brushes, damaged draining pipe, and damaged carwash bars. Some grates were also removed from the draining system which could cause damage to a vehicle.
This is not the first time that similar damage has been done to this property. There have been numerous incidents reported to police in the last two months.
