(RENFREW, ON) – Crime stoppers and the Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) need your help to solve a case of counterfeit currency being passed in our area.
One shopper entered the Canadian Tire store on O’Brien Road in Renfrew on Monday April 20. They made a purchase and paid for the purchase using four $100 American bills. When the bills were processes by the bank they were found to be counterfeit.
