(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On May 6, 2015 at approximately 11:11 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a call to attend Maltby Road East, Puslinch Township. Police located a 2007 Dodge that left the road and was resting in the ditch with a male driver. He showed signs that he was impaired by alcohol. An arrest was made and he was transported to a local OPP Operations Centre for testing.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days as per statute.
Bhupinder Singh age 51 of Puslinch Township has been charged with Care or Control While Impaired and Care or Control Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on May 29, 2015 to answer to the charges.
