(LEEDS, ON.) – Officers of the Leeds and 1000 Islands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing an investigation where a 25 year old female has been charged criminally as a result of a road rage incident.
On the 7th of May 2015, during the evening hours a driving incident occurred on Lyndhurst Road in Leeds and the 1000 Islands Township. The road rage incident resulted in one of drivers being assaulted and a demand for money was made.
25 year old female, Devan MEADOWS, of Elgin was charged with Robbery with Violence, and Assault, Contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada as a result of the incident.
Meadows is scheduled to appear on the 5th of June 2015 in Ontario Court Provincial Division, Brockville.
The investigation continues.
