(LEEDS, ON.) – Officers of the Leeds County Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing an investigation where a 24 year old female and a 33 year old male have been charged criminally as a result of a search warrant.
On the 6th of May 2015, Leeds OPP Crime Unit, and the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Unit executed a search warrant in Seeley’s Bay, Leeds and the 1000 Islands Township.
33 year old Jason DRUMMOND, of Seeley’s Bay, attempted to evade police and was arrested by members of the OPP TRU Team (Tactics and Rescue Unit). He is facing charges, including Disqualified Driving, Dangerous Driving, Flight from Police, numerous firearms related charges, and numerous drugs related charges. He remains in custody pending a hearing scheduled for 22 May 2015 at Ontario Court Provincial Division, Brockville.
24 year old Samantha WHITTEKER, of Elgin was also arrested and charged with numerous firearm and drug related charges. She is scheduled to appear on the 13th of May 2015 in Ontario Court Provincial Division, Brockville.
The investigation continues by members of the Leeds County Crime Unit.
