$10,000 Trailer Missing From Business – Plate M26 78C

(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On Monday, May 4, 2015 at approximately 10:27 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an alarm triggered at Willard G. Hallman Lumber Limited located on Hamill Road (Walter’s Falls) in the Township of Chatsworth.

Police arrived at the scene and observed the front door to the business office open. Upon closer examination, a rock had been used to break the glass of the door. The suspect(s) fled prior to police arrival. There was nothing reported missing.

On Monday, May 11, 2015, Grey County OPP was contacted by the owner of Willard G. Hallman Lumber Limited after a 12 x 5 aluminum trailer had been discovered missing from the property. The trailer, described as a 2010 Millroad Manufacturing, Model 616 trailer, VIN# 2M9FAB2A0AB166153, bearing Ontario plate M26 78C, is believed to have been stolen during the time of the alarm call on May 4th. The trailer was valued at $10,000.
