(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Kenora man following a traffic complaint.
On Thursday May 14, 2015 just before 7:45 pm, OPP received a complaint of a possible impaired driver on Highway 17, east of Kenora. Police attended the area and located the vehicle in the City of Kenora. Police determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and transported him for further tests.
As a result of this investigation, 56 year old Daniel SCHRAM of Kenora has been charged with Impaired Driving contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code (CC) and Driving with Over .80 mg of Alcohol in his Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b) CC. He is to appear in Kenora Court on June 25, 2015 to answer to the charges.
