Busy Weekend For Caledon OPP

(CALEDON, ON) – Members of the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were kept busy over the Victoria Day Weekend with almost 300 calls for service including alcohol related driving offences, traffic complaints, police assistance, motor vehicle collision reports and proactive initiatives such as R.I.D.E. (Reducing Impaired Driving Everywhere)

This past week-end resulted in the arrest of 5 persons with alcohol related driving offences and other related charges:

May 15th – Adriana CARLEY, 22, from Caledon was arrested and charged with Over 80 and possession of a Schedule II substance.

May 16th – Calvert TAYLOR, 33, from Caledon was arrested and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol and Refusal to Provide a Breath Sample.

May 16th – Bruce Daley, 66, from Erin was arrested and charged with Over 80 and further charged with Liquor Licence Act offences.

May 16th – Vinorth CHRISTOPHER, 27, from Brampton was arrested and charged with Over 80, Obstruct a Peace Officer and Personation with Intent to avoid arrest, prosecution or obstruct justice.

May 18th – Karen ATWAL, 33, from Brampton was arrested and charged with Over 80.
