(GREY COUNTY, ON) – On Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at approximately 7:20 a.m. Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a single motor vehicle collision on Hwy. 6 between Wilder Lake Rd. and Southgate Road 24 in the Township of West Grey.
The driver was operating a 2003 Cadillac motor vehicle northbound on Hwy. 6 when he lost control of the vehicle after allegedly falling asleep. The vehicle entered the west ditch and collided with a hydro pole, causing downed wires. The driver was not injured.
The West Grey Fire Department attended the scene as did Hydro One to repair the damaged hydro pole.
Brett KOBE, 19, of West Grey, was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for Careless Driving.
