(RUSSELL COUNTY, ON) In the week of May 18, 2015 to May 25, 2015, Russell County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 212 occurrences. Among those occurrences OPP responded to 18 collisions, 7 thefts, 5 domestics and 1 impaired driver.
As a result of those occurrences, 60 people were charged with various offences.
Harassment
(Casselamn, ON) On May 21, 2015 OPP Constables responded to a harassment complaint on Brebeuf Street in Casselman. At that location a female reported that she was being harassed by her ex-partner. Other incidents were reported to the officers.
A 61 year old male from Clarence-Creek will have to appear in L’Orignal court on June 3, 2015 to answer to the following charges:
CC 348(1)(b) Break, Enter dwelling house – commit indictable offence
CC 271 Sexual Assault
CC 264(1) Criminal Harassment – repeatedly follow, repeatedly communicate with, watch and beset, threatening conduct
Bail Violation
(Limoges, ON) On May 21, 2015 OPP Constables responded to bail violation incident on Ottawa Street in Limoges. At that location it was reported that a male had left a residence without permission. OPP investigated the complaint and concluded that an offence had been committed.
Tate JOCKO, 25 years old, from Limoges will have to appear in L’Orignal court on June 3, 2015 to answer to the following charge:
CC 145(5)(b) Fail to Appear/Comply with Appearance Notice, Promise to Appear, or Recognizance
Harassment
(Casselman, ON) On May 22, 2015 OPP Constables responded to a domestic related harassment complaint on Principale Street in Casselman. At that location a male reported being harassed by his ex-partner. He reported that he was being watched all the time while at home.
A 21 year old female, from Casselman, will have to appear in L’Orignal court on June 17, 2015 to answer to the following charges:
CC 264(2)(a) Criminal Harassment – repeatedly follow
CC 139(1) Att Obstruct Justice
Drugs
(Rockland, ON) On May 23, 2015 OPP Constable Pierre-Etienne Campeau was on patrol in Rockland when he stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A Police computer verification revealed that the driver was not licenced. During investigation some illegal drugs were found on driver.
Claude Jr DUPUIS, 31 years old, from Alfred-Plantagenet, will have to appear in L’Orignal court on June 24, 2015 to answer to the following charge:
CDSA 4(1) Poss of a Schedule II substance- Cannabis Marihuana – under 30grams
The driver will also have to appear in L’Original traffic court on July 2, 2015 to answer to the following charge:
HTA 53(1) Driving while under suspension
Assault
(Hammond, ON) On May 24, 2015 OPP Constables responded to a domestic related incident on Legault Road in Hammond. At that location a male and female had an argument in regards to their relationship. At one point some physical force was involved in dispute.
A male, 37 years old from Hammond will have to appear in L’Orignal court on June 10, 2015 to answer to the following charge:
CC 266 Assault – Spousal
