(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On May 22, 2015 at approximately 1:00 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the driver of a 2008 Honda that was parked behind a restaurant on Woodlawn Road in the City of Guelph.
Police immediately detected the strong odour of burnt marihuana and observed drug paraphernalia near the male driver. A small quantity of suspected marihuana was seized by the officer.
Vahid BIABANI age 22 of Guelph has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 grams contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on July 17, 2015 to answer the charge.
