(PETROLIA, ON) – Recently, members of the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Town of Petrolia have received complaints with regard to aggressive sales persons attending their residences in an attempt to sell various products.
The Town of Petrolia would like to advise their residents that any sales organizations/persons are required to make application to the Town of Petrolia under the Transient Traders Licence By-Law. If said licence is granted, the sales organization/person will be able to provide a copy of the licence and have an identification tag readily available.
