The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 84 calls for service in the last 24 hours. One person was arrested on a warrant.

Break and Enter in Wheatley CK15015730

The Chatham-Kent police are looking for information in connection with a break and enter.

Sometime this past month, unknown suspect(s) stole 12 long guns from a residence in the Wheatley area. Total value of the theft has been estimated at approximately $4000.

Theft in Dresden CK15015724

The Chatham-Kent police are looking for assistance regarding a theft investigation.

Sometime late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, unknown suspect(s) stole a canoe from a fenced area on Metcalfe Avenue West. The canoe was valued at $1500.

Break and Enter in Shrewsbury CK15015749

The Chatham-Kent police are looking for information regarding a break and enter.

Sometime this past weekend, unknown suspect(s) forced their way into a shed on Brock Street causing about $30 damage. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole a 12” Mastercraft mitre saw valued at $350.

Motor Vehicle Collision CK15015746

Around 2:45 p.m. yesterday afternoon, police responded to a two vehicle collision on Harold Street near Main Street in Ridgetown.

No one was injured. Total damage was estimated at $1000.

A 58-year-old Ridgetown man was charged.
