(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On May 31st, 2015 at approximately 2:00 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Clearview fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedic Service responded to a motor vehicle collision (MVC) involving 3 vehicles on County Road #42 between County Road #9 and 6/7 Side Road Sunnidale.
An OPP investigation revealed that a blue Ford Ranger pickup truck was northbound on County Road #42 and for a yet to be determined reason entered into the southbound lanes striking a green Jeep Wrangler and then a black Honda ASE motor vehicle.
The driver of the black Honda was transported to Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The passenger in this motor vehicle was also transported to Hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the Ford Ranger pickup truck was transported to Hospital with major injuries.
The investigation in to this MVC is ongoing with the assistance of members from our Central Region OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit.
