(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On June 3, 2015 at approximately 10:55 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks on Wellington Road 39 and Wellington Road 30, Guelph-Eramosa Township.
Police investigated the driver of a 2004 Pontiac and believed that alcohol was consumed. A Roadside Screening Device test was conducted which resulted in a fail.
The 90-day Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Michael MADORE age 51 of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on June 19, 2015 to answer to the charge.
