(ESSEX, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Essex conducted a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) check on June 4, 2015 at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Essex County Road 50 at Essex County Road 41 in Essex.
A Ford van with a male driver went through the check. The male exhibited signs of impairment and a can of beer was observed in the center console.
The male was arrested at the scene.
Daniel WILLAR, age 44 of Essex, was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content. He will appear in a Windsor court on June 18, 2015 to answer to the charge.
