(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 17 year old male after police stopped a vehicle at a Stanley Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, June 6, 2015, at approximately 3:10 a.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of Stanley Street and Norfolk Street South, when a vehicle attracted an officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged a 17 year old male of Norfolk County, Ontario with possession of marihuana, possession of ecstasy and fail to comply with disposition X2.
The name of the youth is not being released as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
