Three Impaired Drivers In Three Days – Bracebridge

(MUSKOKA, ON) – Members of the Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) had occasion to deal with three impaired drivers over the course of the weekend.

On Friday June 19th, 2015 at 8:35 a.m. police were called to the Gravenhurst Airport on the Gravenhurst Parkway, Gravenhurst, where a man had driven his car through a fence, ending up on the airport property. Police initiated an investigation into the circumstances and have charged 21 year-old Jagger Hughes of Bracebridge with Care of Control of a Motor Vehicle while Impaired CC253(1)(a), Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle Over 80mgs CC 253(1)(b), Mischief Over $5000 CC430(3) and Failing to Report an Accident HTA 199(1). Hughes will appear in Bracebridge Court on July 21st, 2015.

On Saturday June 20th, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. police were called to an address on Sam Cook Road in Gravenhurst regarding a complaint from a local resident about a motorist being aggressive with her. Police attended the area and stopped the suspect vehicle. 24 year-old Oleksandr Tymoshchuk of Mississauga was subsequently charged with Over 80 CC253(1)(b) and will appear in Bracebridge Court on July 14th, 2015.

On Sunday June 21st, 2015 at 8:30 p.m. police were called by an off duty police officer to a boat launch on George Road in Bracebridge as a man was trying, unsuccessfully, to manoeuver his boat trailer onto a ramp. On duty officers arrived to assist and subsequently arrested and charged 55 year-old Timothy Clarke of Bracebridge with Impaired Operation CC253(1)(a) and Over 80 CC253(1)(b) and he will appear in Bracebridge Court on July 21st, 2015.
