(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a theft from a Lyndhurst Avenue, Charlotteville, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, June 30, 2015 in the early morning hours, unknowns attended the address and proceeded to remove the tailgate from a parked Ford F150 pick-up truck that was located in the driveway of the residence.
The simplest way to prevent tailgate theft is for drivers to park in locked garages or to back the truck up against a building wall to limit access. There also are numerous anti-theft tailgate locking devices available, both manual and electronic.
The OPP want to remind all community residents that if they observe any suspicious activity to please contact the police.
