Good Samaritan Calls In Drunk Driver In Palmerston – Corey FRITZ Charged

(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On June 28, 2015 at approximately 8:30 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint about a 1997 Chevrolet. Police located the vehicle on Norman Street, Palmerston.

The male driver showed signs that he consumed alcohol and provided a breathe sample which resulted in a fail. He was arrested and transported to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.

The vehicle was towed and impounded for a period of seven days and his drivers’ licence was suspended for 90 days as per statute.

Corey FRITZ age 25 from the Town of Minto has been charged with Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on July 21, 2015 to answer to the charge.
