(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), officers were advised of a possible impaired driver in the ditch on the Cockshutt Road near Newport Road.
At approximately 4:48 a.m. Sunday February 2nd, 2014, officers were called to a vehicle in the ditch. Officers attended the Cockshutt Road and located a 2002 GMC pickup truck in the ditch. While the officer was talking to the female driver of the vehicle, he observed all the usual signs of impairment by alcohol. The driver of the vehicle was transported to the City of Brantford Police Service for Intoxilyzer Tests.
Sandra Lee THOMAS 45 years of age from Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation is facing the following Criminal charges
Drive Over 80 milligrams
Impaired Driving
The accused is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Brantford on February 28th, 2014 to answer to the charges.
