FOX Charged With Assault In Dog Spray Attack

(Prince Edward County, ON)— On July 15, 2015 at 10:12pm officers from the Ontario Provincial Police Prince Edward County detachment attended a Spring St., Picton address for a disturbance.

The police investigation revealed that an argument had occurred involving several parties. A male involved in the argument sprayed two people with dog attack deterrent. No one was injured in the incident. Police located and arrested the suspect a short time later.

A 29-year old male, Thomas FOX of Picton is charged with two counts of Assault With a Weapon, contrary to Section 267(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada and Bodily Harm: Administering Noxious Thing contrary to Section 245(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was later released from police custody on a promise to appear and undertaking given to a peace officer. The accused is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Picton on August 26, 2015.
