(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 38 year old female after police stopped a vehicle at a Norfolk Street North, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, July 18, 2015, at approximately 2:26 a.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of Norfolk Street North, when a vehicle attracted an officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated.
As a result of investigation, police charged 38-year-old Travanna Viola SAVORY of Kitchener, Ontario with driving over the legal limit and novice driver – blood alcohol concentration above zero.
She is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
“There will be zero tolerance for motorists driving aggressively, impaired by drugs or alcohol, distracted drivers or those who fail to buckle up. Driving safety is everyone’s responsibility and it starts before the vehicle is put into drive” comments Constable Ed Sanchuk, Norfolk County OPP.
