(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On July 17, 2015 at approximately 4:22 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) spoke with the driver of a 1998 Honda Civic that was parked at the ball diamonds in Arthur, Wellington North Township.
Upon approaching the vehicle, police immediately observed a clear baggy containing a green leafy substance believed to be marihuana on the driver’s lap. The driver was placed under arrest and additional baggies of suspected marihuana were located while searching the vehicle.
18-year-old Marshall GREEN of Wellington North Township has been charged with Possession of a Schedule 2 Substance – Marihuana Over 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal court on August 18, 2015 to answer to this charge.
