(SOUTH FRONTENAC TOWNSHIP) On 26 July 2015 at approximately 6:10 pm, Frontenac Emergency Services were dispatched to a residence in Verona, South Frontenac Township for two males with stab wounds. Shortly after, a second call came in for Frontenac Ambulance Services to attend another residence in Verona for a male that was physically assaulted.
A 17 year old male and a 27 year old male were transported to hospital by ambulance for non-life threatening stab wounds and were later released.
A 61 year old male was transported by ambulance to hospital. He sustained non-life threatening injuries and remains in hospital.
Frontenac OPP is conducting an investigation and determined the three males were known to each other. No arrests have been made and the investigation is on-going.
