(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On July 26, 2015, at approximately 3:13 a.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) located a driver dozing off, in a motor vehicle on an east bound off ramp of Highway 401 at Dorchester Road.
Officers determined the driver of the white Kia car had been drinking alcohol. The male was arrested and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.
As a result of the investigation, 59-year-old Kenneth MUNRO of Brooklin, Ontario, has been charged with care or control while impaired (alcohol), and care of control over 80 mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer to the charges in a London court on September 10, 2015.
