(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – While on general patrol, an officer of the East Algoma OPP conducted a traffic stop on Hillside Drive South in the city of Elliot Lake.
Through investigation, the officer charged the driver James Russel SAYER (36) of Ottawa, Ontario with the following:
Driving While Ability Impaired as per s. 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
Driving with More than 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood as per s. 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
Fail to Drive at Right Edge of Roadway as per s. 316 24(5) of the Highway Traffic Act – Off Road Vehicle
Not Equipped with Required Lamps as per s. 316 13(1) of the Highway Traffic Act – Off Road Vehicle
Drive Off Road Vehicle – no driver’s licence as per s. 316 18 of the Highway Traffic Act – Off Road Vehicle
Drive Off Road Vehicle – no insurance as per s. 316 17 of the Highway Traffic Act – Off Road Vehicle
He is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on September 1, 2015.
