ORILLIA, ON.) – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged a male party after a traffic stop in the City of Orillia.
On July 28, 2015 at approximately 2:40 p.m., the Orillia OPP was dispatched to a possible impaired driver on Atherley Road in the City of Orillia. Officers responded and located the vehicle on the Highway 12 bypass near Gill Street. After further investigation the male driver of the vehicle was arrested.
Michael MATHIEU, 52 years old of Richmond Hill, has been charged with Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Ecstasy for the Purpose of Trafficking and Fail to Comply with Court Order.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Barrie on July 29, 2015.
