(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Members from the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit are investigating the theft of a medication cart stolen last night from a nursing/retirement home located on John Street East in the Town of Exeter.
The stolen medication cart contained a large quantity of narcotic & non-narcotic medication that was secured inside the cart. Investigators believe the medication cart was stolen sometime between 11:30 p.m. and 11:45 p.m.
The Specialty Pro model 225 mobile medication cart measures nearly 4’ in height by 3’ wide. The cart is grey, with pink pull out drawer handles. Also stolen was a Lenovo X220i computer tablet that was affixed to the cart.
