(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a collision at a Brantford Road, Windham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Thursday, August 6, 2015 at approximately 6:52 p.m., Police, Norfolk County Fire Services and Paramedics responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and pick-up truck at Brantford Road and Teeterville Road.
Investigation has determined that the motorcyclist was travelling southbound on Brantford Road with other motorcycle operators and a pick-up truck was travelling westbound on Teeterville Road when they collided at the intersection.
As a result of the collision, the motorcycle operator and passenger in the pick-up truck were pronounced deceased at the scene by the attending coroner.
The driver of the truck was transported to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are assisting with the investigation.
Identities of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Brantford Road and Teeterville Road is closed between Windham Road 6 and Windham Road 7 for the next 4 hours to allow for police investigation.
