Witnesses Saw a Female Suspect Throwing a Rock from a Vehicle

(Asphodel-Norwood Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating damage to numerous vehicles in the Town of Norwood.

Suspect(s) damaged vehicles along King and Queen Streets in Norwood by throwing large pieces of concrete on Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. Vehicles had damaged windshields, side windows and body panels.

The previous evening, witnesses observed a female suspect seated in the window frame of a moving vehicle, throwing rocks. This vehicle is described as a dark coloured Pontiac Grand Am (or similar vehicle).

Peterborough County OPP investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to a suspect or suspect(s) in this case. Police urge the public to call in tips on this case, or others, to the non-emergency line (888) 310-1122 or to crime stoppers.
