(PEMBROKE, ON) – The Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating after it was reported that a high velocity projectile struck the rear passenger window of a motor vehicle at approximately 1030pm on August 12, 2015. At the time of the incident the vehicle was northbound on Biesenthal Road, just north of Airport Road, in the Town of Petawawa. The three occupants of the vehicle were not injured but the projectile caused the car window to shatter. The OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit (FISU) is assisting in the investigation.
