(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – On Saturday August 22, 2015 at approximately 5:30 pm, emergency services personnel responded to a collision on Lake Scugog involving two boats.
Many area boaters and residents assisted in the rescue effort. Nine persons were involved in the collision and were treated for injuries. All the injuries were non-life threatening in nature.
The City of Kawartha Lakes (CKL) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision. If you witnessed the collision and have not provided information to the police, please contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or 705-324-6741.
